Although optional, we do recommend you remove these as they can have a tendency of showing through depending on colour or the texture of the existing label.
Follow our simple guide on how to remove the existing label with ease,
Existing Label Removal
- Select your full wine or champagne bottle you will use
- In a sink, fill with room temperature water ( enough water so all the existing label is covered when submerged)
- Add 2-4 tablespoons of baking soda to the water
- Add your bottle/s to the water solution, making sure not to submerge the cork.
- Leave the bottle/s in the water solution for 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Use a razor blade or scraper to remove the existing label and adhesive
Once the label/s are removed, use washing up liquid to remove any remaining residue. Make sure the bottle/s are dry before applying the new label.
